Doug, along with colleague Brian Katz, founded AREP in 2003 with the principal mission to acquire, develop and invest in office, data center, industrial, and residential real estate across the East Coast.
Doug and Brian have been business partners for over 32 years, and since founding AREP in 2003, have deployed over $12 billion across targeted U.S. markets and acquired over 31 million square feet of Class-A real estate across the country. In 2021, Doug co-founded PowerHouse Data Centers, as AREP's national data center division. Currently, PowerHouse has over 60 buildings in planning, or under construction, representing over 4.1 GW in major national markets.
