Read moreLiz joined AREP in 2021 as Vice President of Entitlements, bringing over 20 years of experience in land use planning, zoning, development, and local government. She is responsible for leading all aspects of AREP's entitlement efforts and coordination firm-wide. Liz excels at creating a constructive and positive dialogue with team members, local government, and the community throughout the entitlement process.
Prior to joining AREP, Liz was the Director of Entitlements for Northpoint Realty Partners overseeing their portfolio expansion into the industrial and data center markets. Liz started her career in local government for the Fairfax Board of Supervisors reviewing land use and development issues. She then joined Walsh, Colucci, Lubeley & Walsh to serve as the law firm's land use planner, representing client zoning matters from feasibility analysis through the entitlement process.
Liz earned a Bachelor's degree in Historic Preservation from the University of Mary Washington and a Master's degree in Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia. She is an active member of the American Planning Association and ULI and holds the LEED AP and AICP certified planner designations.
