Jane Patty, AREP Managing Director, Operations & Workplace Receives Globest. Real Estate Forum's Women Of Influence Award

Richmond, Virginia – (May 26, 2021) – American Real Estate Partners (AREP) today announced that Managing Director, Operations & Workplace, Jane Patty, is a recipient of the GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum’s Women of Influence Award.

Since 1983 GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum has recognized a growing number of commercial real estate female professionals for their remarkable achievements. These individuals have personally impacted the market and have significantly driven the industry to new heights via their outstanding successes.

As Managing Director, Jane oversees property management and operations and a property team of 32 for AREP’s 10 million square-foot portfolio across five states and the District of Columbia.  Jane is active in several industry organizations, most notably in BOMA, where she serves on the National Advisory Council and has been heavily involved in the organization’s Return to Work Think Tank. She continues to be the cornerstone of AREP’s COVID-19 Task Force, mobilizing and steering the pandemic response strategy at every turn.  She delivered the pivotal leadership that put American Real Estate Partners (AREP) at the forefront of response to the COVID-19 pandemic, earning the trust and confidence of the tenants, employees, investors and real estate industry leaders.

Both Jane and AREP’s COVID-19 response continue to be recognized and validated by key leaders in real estate health and safety. She was integral to AREP’s efforts to earn the UL Verified Healthy Building Mark for Indoor Air, making AREP the first company in the U.S. to receive this designation portfolio-wide. She also led AREP’s effort to receive the International Well Building Institute (IWBI) Health-Safety Rating for the entire 33-building portfolio after only a first-round review. The firm’s Pandemic Inspection Report was noted by the IWBI for its innovative approach, and efficacy.
